Dr. Jonathan Bujak

Dr Jonathan Bujak is a palaeontologist with more than 100 scientific publications. He was a research scientist with the Geological Survey of Canada, Petro-Canada International Aid Corporation and Bujak Research International, setting up labs and training geologists around the world. He has led palaeontological expeditions into the interior of South America and was involved with the only two geological expeditions to the North Pole: the 1979 Lomonosov Ridge Experiment (LOREX) and the 2004 Arctic Coring Expedition (ACEX) that discovered the Arctic Azolla Event described in this book.

Meet Lexy Bujak

Alexandra Bujak is an environmental scientist who has undertaken extensive research on azolla and its ability to help us weather a Perfect Storm that we face today. She co-founded the Azolla Foundation and Azolla Biosystems Ltd with her father, Jonathan, to provide information and develop azolla’s potential as a CO2 sequester, biofertilizer, livestock feed, food and biofuel. Alexandra administers the Foundation and works closely with organizations like Azolla Institute of Vietnam and Hope for Ebola Orphans Sierra Leone to help feed millions of people as our population grows by a billion every twelve years.
